I'm Barbara Fedders, and I'm running for Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools Board of Education to help our schools work for all students. My vision is of a CHCCS grounded in excellence, measured by more than a test score. To get there, we must commit to equity, and student and teacher safety and wellness. We can, and must, do better: especially for Black and Latino students, those with disabilities, multi-language learners, and students from economically struggling families.
